R.J. Erickson

Rosemary J. Erickson, Ph.D.
Dr. Erickson is a Forensic Sociologist and President of Athena Research Corporation. She is a nationally known expert on crime prevention and security. Dr. Erickson received her Ph.D. in Sociology and Justice from the American University in Washington, D.C., and has studied the problem of crime for over twenty-five years. Dr. Erickson has taught at San Diego State University and the American University. Dr. Erickson is widely published and has received broad media coverage.

 

A. Stenseth

Arnie Stenseth, B.A., C.P.P.
Arnie Stenseth is a Certified Protection Professional (CPP from 1992-2008) and a member of the American Society for Industrial Security. He is vice-president of Athena Research Corporation. As a professional actor, Mr. Stenseth brings his talent and motivational skills to training, as well as reading depositions during trials on behalf of absent witnesses. Mr. Stenseth also served in Military Intelligence in the United States Army. His training and security specializations include physical security, facility security design, assets protection, site surveys, and interviewing/interrogation. He recently completed a study involving prisoners convicted of armed robbery in 20 prisons in three states, where the robbers told him how they pick their targets, why they hurt their victims, and what can be done to prevent injury and death in the workplace.

 

S.J. Erickson

Sandra J. Erickson, M.F.S.
Sandra Erickson is a research associate with Athena Research Corporation. She has a master's degree in forensic science, and focuses on crime statistics analysis, litigation support, interviewing, training, research, and crime site investigation and videography.


Virginia DeBoar

Virginia DeBoar
Virginia DeBoer is a senior crime analyst for Athena Research and holds a B. A. in Social Science.  Her mathematical ability and interest in problem-solving make her ideally suited to the analysis of prior crimes and incidents at the crime sites and surrounding areas. She also analyzes surveillance videos of the crimes for the legal cases for civil suits and produces second-by-second time lines of the event as it unfolds.  

 

 

 

Shannon Brick Shannon Brick
Shannon Brick has been a crime analyst for Athena Research since 2009. While still a high school student, and preparing for college, she maintains a 4.0, she analyzes crime data, police calls, and FBI statistics for research and litigation for Athena. She likes to make sense of things and is interested in understanding why people do what they do. That interest, along with her computer and mathematical abilities, make her an excellent cyber-associate for the company.
